Dear Diary,
If you’re reading this, my name is Micheal, I am an injured soldier that needs help immediately. Me and my mates have been fighting for over one year now. None of the enemies gave us mercy, so we had to keep on fighting. The fight was endless, we never even had to take a break, there were lots of guns and other weapons we used to defend ourselves.
Whoever is reading this, please share this with other people like your family, or relatives. I will now proceed to explain what had happened during WW1. I had served for millions of soldiers in the war, even my mates. Even though I had served in war, I had still lived a life an ordinary person would have lived.
My role in the army was to bring back injured people to the nurse and take the person’s role and fight. The name of those two roles are combat medic, and combat replacement.
Sometimes when I was talking to my mates, this other soldier named Jerome slammed his foot on the table and shouted out loud: WE ARE THE SOLDIERS! WE NEVER GIVE UP! IF WE ARE LOST, WE SHALL CRY EACH OTHER’S NAMES AS LOUD AS WE CAN! WE SHALL FIGHT UNTIL WE DIE! MAKE OUR PARENTS PROUD, MAKE THE GREATEST SACRIFICES YOU’VE MADE TO DIE PEACEFULLY! Everyone would burst out with laughter and try doing what Jerome had said. The day after that, we all survived. That day we all learnt about how much we all care about each other, making it not sad to leave each other.
By day one, I had got new friends and got used to getting forced to train. After we survived, we all celebrated by hosting a party because none of us got killed and winning the war. After that, we all got split into groups and went to the airport to fly back to our usual countries. By the time I reunited with my family, they were very proud of me that they cried and hugged me tightly. Goodbye everyone, I hope you had a nice time listening to me explaining what it would feel like to be in the army. Farewell
Sincerely, By Micheal
