We read a text about Living with the maramataka, we learnt that the maramataka is a lunar calendar maori people use to see when to harvest fruits in the seasons. The maramataka has the months and seasons. We made a Whakatauki to represent the maramataka.
In Inquiry we are learning about Journeying Through time. We have made clocks with a picture of our choice. My art is about the times of the day. As you can see, I drew 4 times of the day. The Sun means morning, The campfire is evening, and the star and the moon means nightime.

Yesterday I went swimming, I have lately been improving with breathing under water and backstroking. I have learnt to swim on my back then turn the other way and then swim on my stomach.
